Satire: The Airline Safety Card for a Peptide Vial
Satire. Fictional characters and events, written for fun. Nothing here describes real results.
Thank you for flying LyoAir. Please review this card before your vial takes off.
Exits
There are four exits: the cap, the stopper, the crimp seal, and the box. Do not use any of them until the researcher has washed their hands.
In the event of a temperature excursion
Remain calm. A lyophilized peptide is a dry solid and can tolerate short warm periods far better than a solution. A reconstituted solution, however, should never fly.
Brace position
Lie flat. Upright vials rattle, and rattling is how stoppers get dislodged.
Water landing
If your cargo hold becomes damp, please note that moisture is the enemy of dry powder. For dilution, a sterile solvent such as our Lab Solution 10ML is available at the destination.
Thank you
We know you have a choice of cold chains. Keep reading.
